metropolx feeds are discord announcement channels. discord lets any server follow an announcement channel: every alert we post is copied into a channel of yours.
nothing to invite, no bot permissions to grant. you pick a feed, you pick a channel, done.
before you start
- join the metropolx discord, you follow feeds from there
- in your server, you need the manage webhooks permission on the channel that will receive the alerts. server owners and admins have it already
- create that channel first if it does not exist yet, a plain text channel is fine (e.g.
#metropolx-launches)
pick a feed
feeds live in the nad.fun category, each one is an announcement channel (megaphone icon 📣) :

the rating comes from the creator's track record, see creator risk rating. first-time creators are rated high, their launches show up in high. a launch only skips the risk feeds when its rating is unknown (we could not read the creator's history in time).
follow as many feeds as you like, into one channel or several. more on picking feeds in choosing events.
follow a feed
- in the metropolx server, open the feed channel, e.g. clusterfuck
- click follow, top right of the channel header
- the popup reads add this channel's updates to your server!
- send to : pick your server
- select channel : pick the channel that will receive the alerts
- click follow
that's it. discord posts a short "this channel is now following…" message in your channel, and the next alert arrives there.
only servers and channels where you have webhook permissions show up in the two dropdowns.
alerts show up under the name of the source feed, with a link back to the original message.
manage or unfollow
followed feeds are webhooks in your server, you manage them like any other integration:
- in your server, open server settings → integrations → channels followed
- pick the feed
- from there you can rename the webhook, change its avatar, move it to another channel, or unfollow
troubleshooting
the follow button is missing. you are not in an announcement channel, or you opened it from an old version of the mobile app. open the feed channel from desktop or web.
my server is not in send to. you lack manage webhooks in that server. ask an admin to grant it, or to follow the feed for you.
my channel is not in select channel. you lack manage webhooks on that channel, or it is a voice, forum or announcement channel that cannot receive follows. pick a text channel.
followed, but no alerts arrive. launches come in bursts, give it a few minutes. check the feed is still posting in the metropolx server, then check the webhook still exists under channels followed. if someone deleted it, follow again.
alerts arrive twice. you follow the same feed twice, or you follow clusterfuck and another feed into the same channel: a low risk launch is posted in both clusterfuck and bluechip, a graduation in both clusterfuck and graduates. pick either the all-in feed or the dedicated ones.
